J Larcombe Architectural Consultant, established in March 2011, is based in Lyme Regis Dorset.

Having worked at well known architectural practices in West Dorset, I set up my own practice offering a range of services.
I have studied at Exeter College and have lived in the area all my life, having grown up in Lyme Regis and Axminster. Therefore, I know the area extremely well. Most of the work that I undertake is in Dorset, Devon and Somerset, but I am always interested in new projects further afield. I aim to always maintain a friendly yet professional relationship with my clients.

I have built up a good understanding with several local contractors, some of which I have worked alongside on the recent Lyme Regis Football Club refurbishment project. I can undertake all types of projects encompassing residential housing, Listed Building works, commercial and community projects.

Whilst employed at a well-established Chartered Architects in West Dorset, I worked on a wide range of projects, including a lot of works on Listed Buildings. I have a great passion for older buildings and take great pride in producing a scheme worthy of each building.

Modern properties can also be great to work with and I have been involved with projects on quite a variety of different buildings. Producing a scheme that both the local council and client will be happy with is always difficult, but I always aim to get the best result.
